Thanks for all the kind welcomes! Wow. I'll try to get over my posting shyness.... To answer dudesuperior's question, I guess it was the Reflection-Intention Technique for last night's success, although I have been trying to do MILD every night. Probably, just paying attention to the nature of things while awake, and doing state testing, eventually paid off. I looked out a window and saw a glorious richly hued planet, which pulsed to reveal the American continents. In gazing at those deep green shapes, just like a globe, I realized that I could not be on Earth, and be looking at Earth, at the same time - hence, I was dreaming! Unlike a few unintentional LDs earlier, this one seemed to last longer. May be it was just beginner's luck. I'll keep up my reading and journaling. Even if I never succeed again, it was worth it. In fact, paying more attention to my consciousness while awake is a gift this exploration has already given me. |
