      Am I WILD or not?

I have been practicing WILD for a few days now, and I have a question? I always reach the crazy vibrations and pressure on my chest and such, but for some reason after I loose concentration, and feel as if I am just laying there for hours. I usually get the Audio, visual and I keep my excitement low but they always go and I can never find myself in the transition stage. Is it possible that I am dreaming of laying there still trying to do a WILD? I have also been doing the RC check and last night I did it a few times and it seemed like I was still breathing very little thru my nose, so i just thought i wasent pinching my nose enough. Could it be possible that I was dreaming the whole time, because I remember trying to start it at 12am and seriously laid there till 3 or 4 am when I last checked? Usually I am good with remembering my dreams, but last night all I can remember is trying to LD all night long.

Perhaps you were just trying too hard. It can interfere with your dream recall. I don't feel overly qualified to give out a lecture on WILDs yet, but there are plenty of people around here who are very experienced in the ways of WILD.

Well done on getting to the transition stage!

After you think you woken up in a WILD, always do a reality check. Here's what's said on the Five Phases of WILD tutorial:

Blackness. Sometimes you will exit transition into blackness. This can be very frustrating because most likely you will assume that you are back in the relaxation phase and have failed. If you find yourself in this situation, open your eyes slowly. Chances are that you only have your dream eyes closed and will be opening them into a lucid dream.

You could well be in a dream if you feel like you are laying there for hours, so always do a reality check when you think you have woken.

      Good luck!
