      asleep but awake?

hi all, i had a weird experience yesterday...while i was watching tv i got sleepy and felt my body vibrate (not the first time) and i actually got through it. most of the time when i feel the vibrations i wake up . this time though when the vibrations stopped i was aware of my surroundings, i could hear the tv on and my wife talking on the phone but i couldn't move. i had no control of my body. i felt so scared that i made myself wake up. is this what's supposed to happen? then you start lucid dreaming? i am confused, thanks for any help.

sounds like a classic case of sleep paralysis to me. I beleive there was a topic about entering a dream through SP, you can try searching it up.

Yeah, it's nothing to be worried about. Next time, remember that and let it take it's course. It cannot harm you in any way, and it's a very good sign that you will be a good WILDer. I'd give WILDing a try, if I were you...

I had a really weird experience where i felt like i was dreaming while awake. I was sitting at my gf's house and was woken up by her entering the room. She talked and i responded, so i knew i was awake. I wasnt able to focus my eyes at all, so everything in the room looked like just opening your eyes while wearing beer goggles. Then the weird part, I heard a small girl's voice that i could only guess was part of a dream, since there was no small girl anywhere near me. The voice said "The energy is within the 1, you must return to the 1".

Needles to say it was a very odd experience, and Ive been thinking about it for a few days.

This one doesn't seem like such a simple diagnosis of simple SP, maybe this is a question for one of the lucid masters or a psychologist.

You definatly have the ability to WILD, I haven't tried to much with the concept, but from what I've read in the tutorials you won't have much of a problem obtaining it.

i posted about the first time i had an experience like this....i told a couple of people about the vibrating body and they told me i was probably having seizures, lol. today i had a dream where i was in college and the teacher asked me to read page 3 out loud from a book....then i looked at her and when i looked back down the page was different and i couldn't find it again. it was a calculus book i was reading for some reason....then it turned to a drawing tablet.
