      Me, I guess

Hi, my proper name is William, but you can call me any of the derivitives of that or whatever else lights your fire.
I am trying to renew my lucid dream life and think this site is a great resourse. I have also communicated with a few people here and found that interaction productive.
My prior lucid experiances occured a few years back when I became intersted by reading material for a philosophy class, the movie Waking Life, reading some Carlos Castaneda books, and eventually doing research for a speech I did in speech 101 about, you guessed it, how to have a lucid dream. Most people didn't know what the hell I was talking about, but I picked up enough to have a couple lucid dreams with semi-control.
Now I want to get back to where i was and beyond, and am looking forward to having a community of fellow dream-geeks to share with and learn from.
For anyone who reads this, what was most influential in your lucid progression? Books, experiences etc......
I have spare time so feel free to PM me any ideas or whatever. I will be very thankful.
      Peace in the Middle East,
      Billiam

It's great to have you. Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming is a pretty cool book about LDs. It's pretty much been deemed the bible for LDers. Anyway, I've read all that Casteneda stuff too. I think the book "Journey to Ixtlan" was the most influental for me in terms of dreaming.[/i]
      Shine on, you crazy diamond!

      Welcome to the Forum.
What do you make of Carlo's books? I have not read them. But I see more & more people advocating his books.
