Hey everyone,
My name is Liam and this is my story.

A few days ago, I had a dream. It was a very realistic dream. I was standing in a field, there was a bright white light surrounding me, there were flowers, butterflies and stuff, it was like a fairy tale. It felt so vivid. I was there standing in the field and I felt like I was there for real. I could look around me, feel stuff, feel the air, hear noises. Then I decided to move, when I took a step, it didn't feel like a real step. This is the point where I realised I was dreaming. As soon as that happened, I started waking up, My eyes opened slowly and I started hearing the cars in the street and the noise in the kitchen.

I could not believe it, so I went on the internet and googled ''realistic dreams'' and after a few tries I found this site, wich I decided to join. I am looking forward to trying some techniques and having more lucid dreams.

You seem like you already have a pretty cool dream life, and I am sure you will have a lot of valuable information to share with us. Look at our tutorials. I hope they help. If you need anything, you can always ask!

Thanks. I wouldn't exactly say I have a pretty cool dream life but that one experience in particular was pretty amazing.

I don't have any specific questions. I will start making my own dream journal tommorow morning when I wake up and hopefully I will have something to write in it. Is there any other preparation stuff I should do before trying some LD techniques or is just keeping a dream recall journal the thing to do for now?
