      Hi, welcome on board!

The simplest explaination of a Lucid Dream is "A dream in which you conciously know you are dreaming". It is something that you most definately know and it can be quite shocking and perhaps even change the way you look at the world and reality.

Please take time to look through our tutorials. There is a lot of knowledge in there on every aspect of lucid dreaming including a lot of good techniques to increase the number of lucid dreams you have.

Good luck and be sure to ask any questions you might have!
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Welcome to the forum, Roxas. I sent you a PM with links to the tutorials. Like Seeker suggested, reading the tutorials is the first step to understanding what LDing is, and understanding the different techniques and acronyms.

Please do some research, try some techniques, and post any questions or experiences you may have. No one will be able to give you step-by-step instructions on how to LD because everyone is different and has their own methods and techniques. You'll just have to find what works best for you. Remember, LDing takes dedication of time and energy so there aren't really any short-cuts. But believe me, the effort is totally worth it.

      Good luck and have fun!

      Welcome to Dream Views, Roxas.

Like the others said, a lucid dream is as simple as knowing you're dreaming, while you're dreaming. It's what's possible when lucid that that can sometimes be deep and complex, but as long as you know you're dreaming, you're lucid.
Check out the tutorials and ask any questions you come up with!

a dream where you know you are dreaming
