Hi Jalla and |
|
Hey! This is my first post on this forum! I live in Norway which is a small country and it's hard to find anyone here who knows what lucid dreaming is... Well here's my story: A friend of me introduced me to lucid dreaming and I have been trying to achieve some for a while now. I tried the WBTB-technique today and it somehow worked. I had one short lucid dream. My only problem is that it seems I have no control over when I become lucid. I have had two LD's lately and in both of them I realise that I am dreaming because I am about to die. In the first one, a doctor started drilling into my back and I found it all too insane to be real. In the second one I walked into an elevator without seeing that I walked onto the elevator roof. About to be squished between the elevator and the roof, I again realised that this can not be real. Turning nightmares into lucids isn't that bad I must say, but I don't have nightmares that often and I would like to become lucid more often. Please share Your thougths about my situation. To those of You who might suggest some reading, I can tell that I am currently reading laberge's book. |

Hi Jalla and |

Welcome to the forum, jalla! Glad you found the site. It's really nice being able to talk to people with similar interests and be able to ask questions and get advice. |

Hi again! Nice to see people responding Please excuse my flawed english... You see... What I meant was not that I can't control my LD's. It's that I can't control the ability to become lucid because I only become lucid when I'm having some sort of a nightmare. And I don't have too many of those. I am not too worried about controlling my LD's. That doesn't seem like a problem. My LD's are just too few and too short. But I guess this is a general problem and I guess reading more in EWOLD might help. I guess I'll just have to find more dreamsigns in addition to screaming terror I and a friend ordered a NovaDreamer today and I assume it will help me a lot. I have read many posts about how people find great assistance in the NovaDreamer, and I have found none that says it doesn't help at all. I study at a university in Norway and I'm in the middle of my examination time so I will have to go easy on the reading of off-subject books. We paid $600 for the NovaDreamer! I hope it arrives soon! Cheers! |

Wow...Though Nova Dreamers help a lot of people, they don't help everyone use it with the possiblility of faliure in mind. It doesn't always work. Anyway, I hope it does work for your sake. 600$ damn....And your English is actally great. There are a lot of native English speakers who don't speak as well. Anyway, have a great time while you are with us. I hope that you gain a lot of insight on dreaming while you are with us. |
