Hi, the last year ive got an interest in dreaming, after learning about Lucid Dreaming. Anyway, when i was younger i could recall 1 of my dreams mostly and usually at the end of the dream ive realised that im dreaming and then i just woke up. Sadly lately i cant remember almost any dream at all:/ (anyone know any reasons for that maybe?) anyway, ive decided i wanna get into lucid dreaming, as it seems very interesting, and would make sleeping alot more interesting^^. Cos otherwise i hate sleeping^^. Anyway, to the point, anyone know how to get started? I heard first i should learning to recall my dreams and then start going into ld. But how do i start? |

Well, tonight when i was going to sleep there was some trouble lol cos i couldnt stop thinking about dreaming, so i had a hard time falling asleep and felt a bit strange and i think i was actually falling asleep for a second while i was conscious but lol i panicked and woke up, not sure though. So i ended up checking im not dreaming =/ Anyway, i woke up and i just couldnt remember any dream at all:/ but i started a dreamlog and wrote that i couldnt remember anything. Can anyone help out how to remember my dreams? |

With some effort you'll be able to get used to waking up and not moving around and routinely focus your first thoughts about what you may have dreamed about. Is hard to not let your waking mind right off get into all the worries of the day, etc. Work at it and you'll get better at it. Good luck. |

As booker was saying, when you wake up, don't move. Don't even open your eyes. Just lay there and think about the last thing that you can remember happening, even if it's just a character, place, emotion, color, etc. Often times what will happen is if you can remember a detail or two, you will be able to work backwards and remember more of the dream than you thought you would. |
