      Newbie Introduction

      Greetings everyone,

I'm an 18 year old kid from Canada, new to DreamViews. I've frequently lurked on these forums, exploring other people's oneironautical endeavors.

I have had an interest in lucid dreaming for many years now. I would frequently attempt to learn the art of lucid dreaming, but would stop after becoming impatient and unsatisfied with my mediocre experiences.

Recently, my intrerest in lucid dreaming was aroused again after I decided to stop using substances. It's not so much that I'm using lucid dreaming as a substitute for recreational drugs, rather, I just need something else interesting to focus on.

What prompted me to post at DreamViews was a particular experience I had last night. I successfully had a W.I.L.D.. I've had a decent amount lucid dreams in the past, but what struck me about this one was it's stunning realism and crystal-like clarity. It only lasted for half a minute or so but it made an impression on me.

Last night's experience has further wheted my interest for this phenomenon. I do believe I will be deepening my excursions in to the world of lucid dreaming.

I hope I can find, and give, support among the other members of this great community and I look forward to getting to know all of you better.

      Cheers,
      -1933

Hey there, and welcome to the forum!

It sounds like you are a natural, and congrats on the WILD. It really isn't easy to accomplish for many people.

I tried some mild drugs and I've found out that lucid dreaming is much better (and cheaper).
