Thread: methods for having an ld

You should check out this Lucid Dreaming Quick Start Tutorial. Also, if you like to read before bed, Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge is a great one, as listed in the above tutorial.

My LDs are mainly DILDs and sometimes WBTB (see acronyms). I also keep a dream journal (on my computer).

The key is finding out what works best for you and use it to your advantage. Good luck!

Hi, and welcome! This is a problem almost everyone has. I have trouble getting lucid too, but what has worked best for me (I think) is HILD (Hypnosis Inducded Lucid Dreaming) See this tutorial. I got three or four lucids total with this method (which I didn't recall). My advice is read the tutorials, try some methods, start a DJ, do RCs, and eventually you will succeed. The first few will probably be low-level, and you may not even remember the dream, just that you had one, but once you start having long, vivid, highly-lucid dreams (which I haven't yet), then you will be very happy you did it. Even without LDs, being able to recall dreams is worth the effort; some of the stuff you dream about is really interesting and/or fun.

Hi, I have yet to experience my first intended lucid dream (but have had a few through sheer coincidence).

And I have found out some information about a "Dream Herb" called "calea_zacatechichi"

So I was woundering if it works? has anyone tried it? and if so, does it increase the ability to induce LD's?
