      Wacom saying hello!

      Hello everyone!

I just signed up yesterday after lurking on this forum for a while.
I'm a 33 year old guy from Sweden trying to figure out more about my undiscovered inner dream world. On this site I hope to make new friends and to be able to share thoughts and ideas with as many of you as possible.

I have had several LD's in the past but it was just recently when I found this forum that I found out what those dreams really were. Determined to learn how to self induce lucid
dreaming I started to keep a journal of my dreams (I write in it 2-3 times/night)
but have not had a single successfull LD in 2 weeks now.

For the past week I have been thinking of other ways to induce LD and since I'm a computer programmer the thought about writing a nifty little tool to do just that have crossed my mind more then once. I have seen posts about programs being made but nothing seems to be ready yet. Would there be a point in me starting to work on such a program? I would consider this to be a way of giving something back to the community from which I have learned quite a bit already.

      Happy dreaming
      /Wacome

Welcome to DV. We're very happy to have you here! I hope that you find some information within this forum that helps you in your quest for lucidity. Lucid dreaming is something that can take a while to master, so don't feel discouraged if you haven't had one in awhile. As long as you are making an effort, you will have some good results eventually. If you need anything, feel free to ask.
      Shine on, you crazy diamond!

Thank you for that warm welcome Gwendolyn. I thought I'd get comfortable with the forum before I wander off and start posting in the other sections. I mentioned a program in my first post (well that's 8 hours ago). Uhm.. I could not stay away from it so here is a crude first view of it. I have not yet tested it (not yet dark enough in my room) but I thought I'd post it anyway and let you give feedback on it.

I saw one program being 90% ready and another one where the auther left the forum not to be reachable. Oh well, here's my contribution:

      Get a copy here:

You will need Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 for it to work. If it's not already installed on your computer you can get a free copy from Microsoft here:

Just curious if anyone decided to test the program yet?
I tried to myself but since my computer was too noisy I had to give it up
I was thinking of including support for an USB lamp. You place the computer in another room and get an USB cord extender. Another thing that could be built in is support for RC reminders and maby dream journals...
