Newbies--Have Hope!

Alright guys, after almost a month I finally had my first LD. Let me tell you, it was amazing. But let me say...the people on here know their shit. What I read on here, helped me realize I was in the dream, and helped me prolong it. After the "squeezing the nose" reality check worked, I stormed out my back door like Peter Pan, and flew into the air. It was weird...I was excited, but not so excited to lose control. I was pretty calm overall. While flying, I literally felt the breeze fly through my face...it's an experience I'll never forget. After a while, I looked down upon my arm/hand and I noticed I was starting to fade. Without panic, I thought of the stabilizing techniques I read on this site. Although the hand rubbing didn't quiet work, the spinning around worked wonders. I twirled around like a tornado and actually watched the clarity increase, and I continued with my dream. For some reason, I wanted to wake up from my dream to tell people, but would always wake up to yet another lucid dream. This happened about 2 times, until I finally questioned why the hell I wanted to wake up, and continued to have some more fun. When I woke up, I was so excited words cannot describe. In the morning, the dream was so vivid and fresh in my mind that I felt like I travelled to some parallel universe. Unfortunately, throughout the day, my memory of certain parts of the dream continued to get fuzzy as the hours went by, but I'll never forget the initial experience. So yeah...just wanted to share my experience.
