      How long does it take?

      Hi

I was just wondering how long it took you guys to LD from the moment you started learning. I know it is different for most people but i was just wondering what the average time was, thanks in advance

Well yeah, it's different for most people. I had my first the night I started trying, but it was way too vague. My first 'real LD' was after about three weeks.

      Good topic.

Just curious, how long have you tried to LD? Tonight will be my fourth attempt using the FILD technique. My problem is getting the timing right to start the technique. At first I start too soon and end up keeping myself awake for 5-10 min. Then I decide that if I let myself relax just a little more, I can achieve perfect timing. However, once I loose focus for a second, I'm completely asleep with no chance of becoming lucid.

I had a small experience the first day that I learned about LD's, and I had one of those every second or third day. I never actually had a real LD until 2 or 3 weeks had passed though.
