NEW HERE AND HAVE DREAM QUESTIONS

Hello, Im' Vanessa, I just found this forum today. I wanted to share an expierence I had last night while sleeping. I didnt realize I was sleeping, I felt awake, and I felt a force go through me at least six times in a row, I couldnt breathe, I couldnt talk, I felt like I couldnt move an inch. I was moving slowly back and forth and I was asking myself what was going on? I woke up and I couldnt breathe for a few seconds nor talk. I wasnt to afraid just curious as to what happened to me. I've never experienced anything like what you described before, but like Squall said, maybe it was that "Hypnogogic Imagery" Well, I hope I can be of more help in the future. how r ya vanessa im not sure if my advice will be any good but recenlty ive had similar experiences as ive been trying to astral travel......... with the force is it like an instantaneous light energy feeling that goes through....mostly feeling in ur head with an air type noise???

Well, I got the feeling in my chest, it felt like a ton of bricks hit me, then i got lightheaded. it was very weird! What is astral travel? Im new here and I havent hear dof this? That does sound like an astral now that you describe it that way. An astral projection or Out of Body Experience is when your concience leaves your physical body. You may interpret this literally or scientifically, there is no real evidence either theory is correct. The feeling you had sounds like your astral body slamming back into your real physical body when you panicked. However it could still all be a healthy form of sleep paralysis, which happens to everyone when they are caught between halfway awake and asleep.
