Hello,

My name is Eric and I live in Boston, Massachusetts. I am a doctoral student at Suffolk University in Boston. I have been fascinated by lucid dreaming ever since I first read the pivotal book on the subject "Lucid Dreaming" by Steven Laberge. (spelling?) In fact, this book is what inspired me to become a clinical psychologist! (long story)

I have never lost my interest in having and learning about lucid dreams. For some time now I have longed to study the subject and am working my way to doing so. Right now, I am working on a study that examines the relationoship between cardiovascular reactivity to stress, life stress, and coping skills and their relationship to sleep quality. I hope to work some lucid dreaming stuff into my research eventually, so I am looking to learn as much as I possibly can. I am especially eager to read about and discuss the experience of others, so feel free to let me know ANYTHING about your experiences.

Personally, I am, as I mentioned, very eager in actually having lucid dreams as well. I have had 5-10 in my lifetime and want to increase that number. Three of my lucid dreams were purposefully induced. However, it seems that I can never seem to have a lucid dream, except once every 1-2 years (sometimes more) and it is cery frustrating. I hope to begin, from this point on, doing everything I can to have more of them, but am so far discouraged by the prospect. I hope to look back one day on this post with a different perspective.

Anyone should feel free to write me anytime about their experiences...I am eager to hear them.
