      Cheers

      Hello forum.

I like to dream. I remember them more than not, depending I s'pose...I've been interested in lucid dreaming for a while, but never really put any effort into it. I've fallen in love with Waking Life and things like that. Sometimes I write down dreams if I have time/remember right away. Sometimes I remember them after a few hours.

The only lucid dream I really remember is one that I wanted to get out of, but was stuck.

My main problem is that when I realize I'm dreaming I seem to wake up as soon as I do.

I don't know what all the ILD techiniques stand for or how you go about doing them. >.>

Oh, and I'm nearly 16, and live in boring ol' United States.

Welcome to the forum. If you feel your dreams beginning to fade try spinning around; the technique has a very high success rate. As for your question about induction techniques (ilds?), I’ve created a glossary of terms just for these questions.

      I can because I know I can.

Hey there and welcome to the forum! Very unique username, too. Here is an acronym list for all the ILDs and other abbreviations; also the entire tutorial list for everything else LD-related. Plus, there's tons of helpful information from other members of the forum - so have a good look around.

There a different stabilizing techniques you can try as soon as you become lucid, to stabilize and maintain lucidity. Like looking at your hands, leaning against a wall, or repeating a phrase out loud to yourself. Just keep trying and practicing different things and see what works for you.
