      Hello

Hi, my name is Savannah. I have had about 3 lucid dreams in my entire life, and I'm 15. I remember them vividly. I used to dream I was breathing underwater too, but I thought it was real and tried it in real life, stupid me! I have 4 dogs, 2 rats, a bird, a cat, and a horse. Is it possible to concentrate so hard on remembering a dream, you forget the dream? Because that's what happened last night and all I remembered was the very end. And sometimes I dream in 3rd person, looking down from the sky or some other odd place, is this normal? Thanks and I hope I enjoy it here!

you should write down your dreams right after from awakening instead of doing anything else this realli helps with developing dream recalls!

Welcome to the forum, Savannah You're my kinda girl with all your pets!

Anyway, I'm not sure if you're already keeping a dream journal, but if not, that's your first homework assignment. Start one! And write down anything and everything you can dream-related. And as D_O_T mentioned above, write it down as soon as you wake up - don't do anything else first. The longer you wait to write it all down, the more you will forget - quickly. It's amazing how quickly our minds discard dreams. I'm still blown away when I read back through my DJ from years ago - I'd never have remembered those dreams if I hadn't wrote them down.

Good luck with everything and let us know if you have any questions!
