Hi, my name is Nikolay and I just joined yesterday. I became interested in dreaming a few years ago when I had a couple of peculiar dreams, which I will mention in another thread, possibly my DJ. Yesterday, I found this site out of pure interest of reading others' dreams and enjoyed it so much as to register on it. My most noticable hobbies are cooking, acting, and writing. In fact, last year I published an article in my school newspaper about dreams. The most interesting thing that has happened to me lately is probably being an extra on Spider-Man 3, where I met all the stars. Although I can often remember my dreams after I wake up, a problem I have is actually going to sleep. It has always been hard for me to fall asleep quickly and I always end up turning every two seconds and staring at the clock or the wall. When I went to sleep yesterday I tried a WILD, or at least I believe that's what it is, and I tried to remove all my thoughts and go into a dream state. I eventually lost all my thoughts, but when it came to falling asleep they all rushed back. Does anybody here have any tips on falling asleep faster (other than drugs, of course)? Thank you for reading, and I'm sure I'll enjoy my stay here. |
