Thread: Un Autre Introduction

What up all - I'm a transfer from ld4all.net, although maybe transfer's the wrong word since I still post there. This place seemed more expansive and a bit more geared towards the scientific method, although both sites have their individual merits. It's not heresy to be on both forums at once, is it? Is anyone else a double agent here? I worry that I'll start drifting towards one or the other and then I'll feel neglectful.

Anyways, I used to have a series of nightmares that were capped off at the end with semilucid moments that I used exclusively to wake myself up as fast as I could - what a waste. For that reason only and for that fact that I've been keeping a dream journal for 4-5 years do I label myself a "lucid student" instead of a total beginner, even though I haven't been able to consciously induce one yet.

I guess it'll be a bit of a pain to double-post my dream journal, but then again I already am! I have a mirror journal at livejournal so now I'll be publishing it in three different locations; yeah me!

people tend to drift to one or the other depending on their lucid needs but where ever you end up, hope you learn all you ever wanted about lucidity and all that jazz

This name is pretty outdated and I've certainly thought up a lot cleverer in the 5 years I've been bandying it about, but I'm attached to it. No, I'm not much one for spamming though I can appreciate your concern.

Apparently I'm a blue solar monkey, but I don't actually put any stock in that stuff. Like I said, part of the reason this place appeals to me is that it tries to be a bit more scientific than flaunting symbols that are supposed to correlate to my "natural harmonic energy vibrations" or whatever they're actually supposed to be.

Damn! Nobody make the mistake of going to www.ld4all.net. Its nothing but an endless spam attack of endless stupid popups. And even the primary targets were nothing more than blatant new age advertisements.

Yes, I'll have to stop complaining about what little silliness and stupidity we have here. compared to them we are a veritable bulwark of staid pipe-smoking professors, philosophers, doctors and gentlemen explorers.
