      Does this scare anyone else?

This is has happened to me so fast. And I have a very active imagination. So I wonder, can you create a world in your dreams so wonderful that you don't want to leave or you just can't wake up. I had a hard determining if I was still dreaming when I finally woke up. Does reality and dream confuse anyone else?

I dont know if this is related but I did have a dream where my subconscious possibly intervened.

I was in a lucid dream and I was then in a hospital and they were looking at me as if I was crazy for what I was thinking was a dream. Of course It was all in a dream but I surely questioned whether or not it was possibly real.

      Dream Confusion

Sometimes I would rather dream than live my real life. It's another form of escapism is all. I don't do drugs or drink but I sure would like to just sleep all day and night sometimes, to avoid my real life. In my dreams , I can ususally create my own reality that I can deal with better !

Hehheh, I don't think that you could stay in a lucid dream forever, unless you actually can make one year seem like one minute.

You shouldn't be scared by it though. I mean, it's probably impossible for something like that to happen, unless some freak accident happens, and you go into a coma, but that could never happen! =P

Lucid dreams can be fun though, they can be used as a recreational activity, to experiment, to shop, all kinds of crazy things. Since it's your dream, anything goes.

Yes, if someone is going through a rough time, it'd be easy to see why they wouldn't want to wake up, but I read somewhere that people shouldn't use lucid dreams as a way to escape reality.

You shouldn't worry about staying in a dream forever though, because everybody wakes up. Whether it be from a cat licking your face, (so long it's not the cat in my picture) or from an alarm clock, all dreams come to an end.

I've confused dreams and waking life before, but not really in the way you were describing. I'd have conversations with my friends in dreams and then mention it later to them and they wouldn't know what the hell I was talking about.... buuut, I don't think this is what you meant.

Still, I find this whole idea of not being able to differentiate dreams from waking life kinda creepy too. Let the abnormal stay in my dreams, and the normal stay in my reality. I don't want crazy shit happening around me. Too unpredictable.
