      brain wave sound

      i have installed and made a preset for my sleeping order as
      8 hrs sleep
      and 30 min for how long it will take to fall asleep(.i.e the second node)
      and the remainig as per steps 8 to 13 from the tutoriial

      but when i played, i hear the same sound even after 40 min from start, and there was no change in sound. is this the way it works?
      or do i need to make any change?
      plz help

      Just use the builtins. Press the dropdown and take the one called Falling Asleep or something like that. Write it out into .wav and put it in your mp3 player.

      hey leopra,

      if you're referring to the BWGen application, it's not the sound that changes, it's the pitch in sound.

      If you play the first few seconds of your file and then skip into the middle sections, you should hear the same "sound" but in a lower pitch. If you don't, then it's possible you exported a different setting.

      The changes in pitch throughout the file will be very subtle and change slowly over a long period of time. So, you may not even notice that it has changed. But that's how it works. It gets your brain to mirror the pitch (or waves) from the headphones, and as the pitch changes from your file, your brain is supposed to follow it. Apparently this mirroring works best if the changes are slow and steady.
