      Good News =D

Had my first LD and most likely even 2. Here's what happened...
Well I woke up (for real) when my sister came barging into my room to show me her new braces, and of course I did not care, so went back to sleep (about 10:30 AM) and had this feeling that I would have a Lucid Dream. I was right. I remember being in the room I was sleeping in, and I than just suddenly realized that where I was could be a dream, so I pinched my nose, and I could still breath! YESSS!! A couple weeks of hard work just payed off. The world around me than all of a sudden appeared much more real... alive, vibrant, use all the adjectives in the book. Now it gets fuzzy, but I talked to my mom about how I was dreaming, knowing that she wouldnt actually realize this conversation because it was just a dream but than I got overly excited and woke up. DARN. Did a reality check... "wait a minute", this is still a dream. So I than spent the remainder of that dream trying to make things happen which never did and I never even left the room, even though I had some visitors, a couple of my friends who were killing people or somthing IDK, but all in all, a wonderful experience, sorry for dragging on for so long, if you read this far your a trooper. I look forward to having another LD tonight if im lucky, and I am now officially, HOOKED.

Congrats! I had my first LD after three weeks, so I still remember how it feels. (And as of today I've been here for two years) But now that you've had one, if you keep working at it the other should start coming more and more often.

As for your control over the dream, I'd actually recommend, if you haven't done this already, decide what you want to do ahead of time. It can save you time trying to think of stuff to do and also it can make you more confident since you're simply going out and doing what you planned to do.

      Keep it up!

Congrats on the first LD mate

Funny thing, that despite how many different techs you try, it often turns out that your first LD is a DILD

Lost count of how many lucid dreams I've had
