      Feelings of a WILD

So, I've done this numerous times, but nothing has ever happend, I just get these funny feelings:

Laying on my back, and whatnot, and after about 30mins+ I start to loose awareness of my body, and most memorably my lips. It feels like my mouth is open and my lips are no longer touching. There's a wierd numbness feeling over most of my body, and my eyes are slightly opening - I struggle to keep them shut while staying relaxed.

Now, sometimes I get excited, thinking "this is it, I'm nearly there", my heart beat increases, and I have to think about and try to control my breathing more. If I get too excited, it all reverses and I roll over and go to bed because I can't be bothered anymore.

Now, is this or is this not common when trying to WILD? I can't help but think it's my mind playing tricks, as nothing ever happens after this. Am I not waiting long enough for the dream stage? or is this really not how it should go?

From what I read and tried, I think..Yes, it's common.
That's almost exactly what happens with my WILDings.

There must be a solution somewhere.
I'll try again. We'll probably find a way to WILD one day.
      Are you dreaming?
Maybe, but don't sleep your life away.

The explenation for it is very long and there really isn't a solution. Get used to it, and you will eventually stay calm as it happens.
Some people also find that just as the rush happens, they rool over, and they find them selfs to be in a dream. You could try this

Rolling over? Shouldn't I be in the dream state if I simply open my eyes then? (Because they would be my dream eyes, if you think about it)

Yes and no. I really don't know. I've not tried it my self, since I haven't been able to get into sp lately (stupid uncomfortable mattress ), but I've read around this place, that you have to rollover. It's not cool to be in your bed, sleeping, but totally paralyzed. Useless
