hey there, its been around 2 weeks since I started dreamin. There is a big problem that encountered around 5 days ago. For some reason sometime before i wake up, something happeneds and I can't remember my dream at all! Its like my memmory is erased and then i wake up! grrr, this isn't good, I probably can't get anywhere near Lucid Dreaming with this trend. But the thing is, is that whenever I have vivid dreams I can remember them well and I don't even need a journal. The vague dreams are mostly forgoten but I don't know how to control my vivid dreams.... does anyone have some adice toward vivid dreams?

I also listen to jazz fusion like Al Di Meola, classical, especially paganini for my guitar inspiration, and lots of other kinds of music
MUSIC = LIFE!!!

How much dreams do you recall per night?
I recommend writing vivid dreams to dream journal as well, it'll help you to find dream signs.
If you want to control your dreams, you need to become lucid in them. Are you doing any induction technique. If not, I recommend to begin with doing reality checks.

BTW: Lossing dream memories sometimes happen to me. After some wake ups with no recall I determined this (from sleeping posture and deepening sleepy mind state): I sometimes wake up, but not fully conscious, then roll from side to side, fall asleep for a while - this clear my dream memory. And then I wake up and don't remeber anything .
However, this could be only a theory.
Lucid Count: 60 (a lot from dream reentry and recognizing FA)
Experiencing uncommon problems is a way to debunk inaccurate theories and find the truth.

Every entry in a dream journal helps a little, or so im told. No matter how little you remember, it should help your brain to remember your dreams more and more and more. And yes, vivid dreams to, which are usually more memorable because of vividness. As far as induction techniques go, i personally have only had DILDS so far but an LD is an LD.

I'm just starting my dream journal myself. But I've had two dreams in the past year that I will probably never forget, just because of how vivid they were while having them. Heck, I may have been in a lucid state during them and didn't know it. For me personally, I find that vivid dreams are really important for finding dream signs, as long as you can remember very specific details within them. But then again, if you couldn't, why would you call them a vivid dream?
