Theres supposed to be an email before you can post, but its been a while, and no email. I hope you Administrators don't mind me posting a new topic, but I hoped I could since I could log in.

My name CLiff Turtle was bestowed upon me several months ago, and I am here to learn more about dream control and recall. Many people have had nightmares which led them to learning how to control dreams. When I tried this the first time it always failed: I would try turning away from where I knew was danger and got stuck in a loop, like a broken record. I would have to wake up. This was about 4-6 years ago.

However, recently my friend visited me for the week, and told me about his fantastic lucid dreams, and I thought itd be worth a second shot.
What I would consider my first lucid dream was about a week or two ago. My Dream Cue was when I saw my friend smoking a joint, something generally considered illegal and so I realised I was dreaming. When I realised this: the lovely picnic scene around me vanished into blackness leaving the two of us together. And somehow (I dont know if I influenced it or just went along with the dream) I pulled out two more freshly rolled six inch long joints out of my sleeve. Feeling fairly proud I said to myself "I bet I can make another one", at which point the dream froze. The scene rapidly degenerated to just my manakin arms and then I woke up. Although I'd like to point out I wasn't afraid.
I also had one when I was dozing after waking up too early, but this post is getting too long to go into that.

I moved up to Scotland about 1-2 years ago, and am adjusting to the quite life fairly well. I visit my friends in Manchester whenever I can get the money and/or time, and look forward to my gap year this time next year, as well as more LDs. I'm keeping myself a dream diary which will enable me to talk about my dreams later.
This sig is composed entirely of recycled electrons.

Basic lucid tasks completed: Stop traffic, Draw/paint a self portrait/landscape, Swing into a body of water, Walk through fire, Watch TV.

      Advanced: None

Btw, you have some total stoner dreams you know that.

      Is an elaborate dream?
And if you look at your reflection
Is it all you want it to be?"
