      Hello I am new here...I am 16, live in the Dominican Republic.
      I don't really like talking about myself so i'll skip to the lucid dreaming part right away

      A while ago, while I was dreaming, I remember saying the words ' I must be dreaming ...'. At that time, I had no clue about LDing , I didnt know about it, but I was interested in what just happened to me:
      ''Wow, being aware you're in a dream, being able to control your dream...that has to be one hell of an experience ''. I even made a mental note about having to do some research on that...but because of the daily responsabilities and such, I forgot.

      About one month ago, during a dream, I suddenly became aware that I was dreaming ( I don't know how, no dreamsigns, no nothing, I just did ) and I remember I shouted: ''I AM LUCID DREAMING , oh my, oh my !! '' Then I started thinking of what I should do, but as soon as I did that I lost it...I went right back to dreaming. When I woke up I promised to myself that I had to do some research about it, I wanted to have LDs....

      And here I am

      I am looking to improve my LDing ''skills''.
      First, I want to be able to induce them.
      Then, be able to control MY actions.
      Finally, I wish I was able to control my entire dream.
      <div align="center">"Could we but mould our dreams at will,
      And keep them free from harm or ill,
      How pleasant it would be,
      To deem our waking hours but dreams,
      And that, our life which now but seems
      A baseless fantasy."

      Hey there Welcome to the forum&#33;

      Aren&#39;t you glad you finally researched LDing? You&#39;ll be glad you did - and you came to the right place to learn more about it too.

      Check out the tutorials, ask questions, and utilize the Search function.

      Oh and don&#39;t forget to keep a dream journal - it&#39;s your best friend&#33;

      Good luck and have fun&#33;

      Welcome welcome.

      Looks like you already have enough lucid dreams on your own, but if you are wanting more, I recommend the WBTB (Wake-back-to-bed) method. Hey, if it can work for me it&#39;ll pretty much work for anyone. Like Burns said, a dream journal helps with dream recall.

      Lucid dreams are any dreams in which you realise you are dreaming. It is most likely that you won&#39;t be able to control what you are doing straight away. Just concentrate on staying lucid, maybe try one of the lucidity sustaining techniques found on the board, but I found them pretty difficult to execute. However, I found that I can control my dreams pretty easily by simply wanting something to happen. I don&#39;t mean concentrate, but just want something to happen.

      For example, 2 lucid dreams ago I wanto to get up to a certain place. All I did was want a trampoline or something to jump off of. I just jumped and felt the surface spring under my feet, which propelled me up in the air.

      I am from South Africa

      Well, welcome to DV, Hippie&#33; It&#39;s good to have you here and if you have any questions just let us know. Burns pretty much covered it, so I won&#39;t repeat her

      Sweet lucid dreams&#33;
