I just started trying to become lucid, and I haven't had success yet. I've read a bunch of different strategies and have been switching off every night. Would it be smarter for me o try to stick to one strategy?

I know everyone probably has a different suggestion but I would personally recommend sticking with WBTB and doing it every night. When I came to this site with only one big LD under my belt, WBTB eneded up giving me lucid dreams every night within two weeks time. It seems to result in the longest and most vivid lucid dreams as well. If you want to read up on it click my sig or manually find it in the tutorials section. If you have any questions about it Id be more than happy to help.

Yes... WBTB is awesome... it's also a pain in the neck I think, but a pain in the neck that is well worth it.

When you find a technique, how long are you sticking at it before you class it as not working?
When you try a new technique, it can take up to two weeks for your brain to get used to it.
So it's not really helpful to only try it for three nights and then give it up when you have no results. Lucid dreaming is as much about patience and perseverance as it is about techniques.
