      Hello!

I'm new to the forum and I thought I'd introduce myself here! I've been lucid dreaming for about 10-11 years now, all without consciously trying to do it (until recently), but I never knew there was a community like this around. I'm excited to chat with people, read about the different induction techniques, and post some of my experiences.

I'm also a representative for Wellness Tools, the company that makes the DreamMaker. I Okay'd it with Icedawg before I posted, and I just want to let everyone know that I'm available for discussions or for answering questions about the product, the company, the owner, etc, but I'm NOT here to sell DreamMakers, so you won't see me talking about promotions or prices or anything like that.

I hope to contribute to more discussions than just those about the DreamMaker though, so you'll probably see me around.

If anyone has any specific questions about buying a DreamMaker or finding more information on them, you should probably PM me instead of posting something on the forum. I don't want to take up posting space with promotional stuff at all.

      Thanks everyone!

I will NEVER AGAIN work with Wellness Tools, Bruce Gelerter, and the DreamMaker! I have to sue him. Email if you want to know more.

      Hello dreammask.
Thanks for your respect of the Forum.

I don't think it would hurt to at least tell us what the DreamMaker is.

Has your lucid dreaming evolved since you have made a conscious effort or is that in part because of this dreamamker?

Thanks Burns! And thanks for the link to the other thread. I've already put a big response to Rassle's, erm, concerns there.

Oh, I suppose I could tell you what it is.

It's a lucid dream mask that you wear while sleeping. Basically, it has a motion sensor that is placed directly over your eye to sense REM, and when it senses such movement, it sets off cues like lights and sounds that are meant to create dreamsigns. So it makes dreamsigns for you when you enter REM. You just have to train yourself enough to recognize it as such and go on from there.

That's probably the most basic description. ^_^ Thanks for asking!

Forgot to mention.. yes, my lucid dreaming evolved considerably when I made a conscious effort to do some things. I've become rather adept at flying and it's my favorite dream pasttime. At this point, I don't even have to be very lucid to make myself fly around in just about any dream. I love it, love it, LOVE IT! Ahem...

Anyway, with the DreamMaker, it helps make my LD's more frequent.

So, have you ever had any people say that the DreamMaker has awoken some people in the midst of their dreams more often than not? The reason I ask, is because I am a pretty light sleeper I wake up very easily. Would it work for light sleepers?

The light intensity and the volume of the sounds are both adjustable, so for light sleepers, you can set the cues to be less intense and therefore less likely to actually wake you up. It takes a little bit of tweaking to find a good point where the cues are high enough for you to see them in your dreams, but low enough that they don't wake you up.

I actually had to turn mine up higher than I thought I would have to before I could see the cues in my dreams at all. ^_^

      Christina,

This is Steve, Rassle Co. I find it curious that Bruce Gelerter sends out his hired help to carry on his battle while he is nowhere to be seen. I'll check in on you from time to time, just to make sure that everything is hunky-dory. Good luck on your continued employment.

Thanks for the concern, Mr. Pertubal. It's not like Bruce is nowhere to be seen, however. He's easily contacted via email or phone, and since I'm more available online than he is in a normal day, he's definitely accessible through me. I think its great to see that the business is doing well enough that he can hire people to help with PR and such.

I don't think that trying to be available and involved in the LD community has anything to do with "battle," as you say. After all, we're not here to fight anybody. How friendly and positive would that be?

      Have a nice day.
