hello, im fairly new to this site, and the concept and such of LDing and really any kind or dreams.
My name is Andrew, im 17, and music is very important to me.

I have many questions and id love to experience a LD especially the types of dreaming with full or semi control. I seem to have really bad dream recall, thus making me never remember a dream. The Dreams i do remember are usually very vivid and i remember then in great detail, i actually think i know one of my dreamsigns, i believe it is death or hellish landscapes.

Ive Decided to kep a dream Journal, i have been writing in it since sunday or so. Its been a really long time since ive rememberd a dream, its as if when i sleep i close my eyes and open them 4 secs later. I hope my writing is understandable.

What are some ways to help my dream recall?

Thanks for any and all help

Hey! Welcome to the forum!
I'm a bit of a music-nut myself. What genres do you listen to?

Anyway, the best tip for improving recall is just writing in your Dream Journal frequently. Be sure to write down everything, feelings, impressions, etc. That helps recall the most.

Anyway, have fun here, see ya around!

i mainly listen to metal and hardcore, anything hard fast and aggressive, but i also like folk music and (im not sure what its called) but orcastrated type music. i played the violin for a few years, wich i regret quiting.

well i usually remember nothing upon waking except blackness, what do you mean by writing down feelings? is it like today when waking i felt hazy, and tired and drained. usually im wide awake. and also my dad said he woke me up about five times before, yet i dont remember this? what is this called? and are this notable things to write?

Hi there, Wake Welcome to the forum. You definitely came to the right place to learn how to LD.

Great job starting a dream journal - it will be your best friend in training yourself to remember your dreams, and to help you recognize patterns to your dreaming.

You should check out the tutorials, if you haven't already. Especially the dream recall tutorial since that seems to be a problem area for you.

Please feel free to post any questions or experiences you may have. I look forward to seeing you around the forum. Don't be a stranger!
