So I started attempting Lucid dreams a while back and I havent really had a Lucid dream yet but I was well on my way. I was remembering like 3 dreams a night, I was writing them all down in a dream journal. I could remember everything like so well from my dreams. Then one night I didnt remember any dreams and then the next and now its been like three weeks and I havent remembered a dream at all. I try and remember what I was dreaming about the second I wake up but I can never remember. I occasionally remember small bits and pieces of dreams but I cant remember the actuall dream anymore. Any ideas on how to help me remember my dreams more cause if I cant recall my dreams then I will never be able to Lucid Dream

Have you got good sleeping hours?

If you havemaybe your just having a dry spell, if you had good dream recall like you said thenit wouldn't just go.

Just be patient, I'm sure it'll come back.

      Hope this helps

That's good. 8 hours is the recommended amount of sleep for the average person.

After a long dry spell I gave up trying to remeber and have lucid dreams as a result I stopped rembering any dreams at all. Now a month later I've decided to start over again and am remembering 1-2 dreams a night.

      Hey there,

Have you been smoking weed or taking other drugs. I lived the proof that smoking marijuana suppresses R.E.M. sleep and dreaming. Eventually I had to make a choice; dreams or weed... and I have never regretterd it- I have been straight for over 3 months now.

Caffein can do it too. Quitting Coke-a-Cola was harder than quitting weed. They should ban that shit.

      Dae,

      Rob.

You have 4 or 5 REM cycles every night. Remembering your dreams simply involves waking up soon after a REM Cycle. Well, you can do this by drinking many glasses of water before going to sleep, and then drinking more every time you wake up during the night to go to the bathroom.

You will not wake up from deep sleep to take your leaks, but you will wake up from out of your dreams. Unfortunately, in some dreams you will wake up while looking for a bathroom in dreamland, but often not the entire dream is taken up with such hygienic concerns.
