Everybody posts in to say they are new, but I just wanted to say
how glad I am for finding this site.

When I was a child I'd always be on at my parents about how
I seemed to be able to realise I was in a dream and know that
I was just lying there asleep. It gave me such a feeling...

And now a teenager and getting into crystals and such, yesterday
I remember about how I could do these strange things with dreams.
So... I type "dream control" into google and this site comes first

I have read posts for a day or so and now things start coming back to me..
How i could always escape a bad dream by spinning.. How I actually did become
in control after a long spell of nightmares.. And how i lost the ability sadly when
I became 11 or so...

Well now I know there is a whole world of people who have been dreaming lucidly
for far longer than I've been alive. I'm grateful for this and can't wait to try it out
again. In fact, last night i started my dream journal and happened to dream 3 times
Which I'm chuffed about. Soon when my recall is up to scratch i'll start attempting to become
lucid. With success i hope!

Anyway, thank you to this site for making me aware that the awesome feelings I've experienced
whilst sleeping are shared by a whole community

Thanks everyone

Waking State Or Wakewalking Through Their Dreams...

Hi Starshine - great to have you on board with us!

Say, crystals, eh? You know if there's any correlation between them rocks and lucid dreaming? Don't think I've ever come across anyone else on here who had that interest. Would be interesting to find out.

Well I've slept with amethyst and howlite above my bed now
for a week. And it seems that they do help me recall my dreams
at least...
It seems amethyst is popular because it helps you rest peacefully..
And howlite is to calm stress i think..

Don't know about others

At the moment I just wanna start dreaming away.
But I agree, sleeping with crystals would be interesting..
Especially to see the effects on the dream of different crystals.
Its something I intend to try WHEN I've started Ld-ing

Indeed they are

I read some of your dream journal NeAvO..
Just to get a taste of what people are dreaming.

It makes me feel less of a freak.. All these things
that can happen and change in just a few moments
in a dream. It's just fascinating and lovely

You know i almost can't wait to get to sleep now. It's 10.41
here in England so it should be soon.
I guess all newbies are like this... desperate to explore
Can't help it!
