New To Lucid Dreaming

Hi I had my first LD ever about 2 weeks ago....i had read about LDing a while back but never thought a whole bunch about trying it....until I had one....It was the most vivid real life experience I have ever had...it was like I just poped into this dream world spontaneously without trying...i said to my self I am awake and I am dreaming!! ..this must be a LD!!!...it only lasted for like 30 seconds the first time and began to fade...then I woke up....after that I started a DJ and wrote down all the dreams i could remember each night ....also I would practice RC's during the day....and like 5 days of doing this...i had my second LD....it was just as before I just poped into this dream world and I immediately looked at my hands to do a reality check and my fingers looked funny not normal...so I knew I was dreaming a LD...so I said to myself Im going to explore and try some stuff...so I started yelling out loudly "Is anyone else in here in my dream!" I could hear my voice echo in this room I was in no one responded.....I then tried to float ...so I just lifted my feet and flew upward and hit the ceiling....hahah...i laughed....i think I got so excited after all that the dream began to fade...so I remebered the spin technique...I did it and I was back lucid again....only for a short period though after I tried kissing this girl that I made magically to appear....i woke up!....what a drag....it was fun though....i look foward to doing this again....thanks for everyones help here.....any ideas on why my LD's happen spontaneously instead of dreaming then doing RC in your regular dream then going Lucid?

thats almost exactly how my first ld happened although when i tried to fly i almost floated away like a helium balloon lol i got down...after like 2 min it was cool! But no idea why they just happen spontaneously but my first one only happened after i knew what lding was
