I signed up for this forum last night and since then i have had an odd occurance in my waking life. Earlier this evening i went from my bedroom to my kitchen to get a drink and my kitchen light would not turn on. The idea of dreaming was fresh in my head since i had just signed up yesterday. I looked around for a bit and realised i was in fact awake. And shortly later i tried to turn on my light again and it worked fine. No idea why. But i thought i t was interesting.

But heres a question. I was wondering if anyone on this site has tried to meet somone while lucid dreaming in a certain pre-determined location with anouther person who was also lucid dreaming and have had any type of conversation which both remembered the next day?

You should google "shared dreaming". I have heard of the concept, never tried it though. I have never read anything that would lead me to believe that it is really possible either.

      Welcome to DreamViews Mr Newbie.

A lot of people have claimed they have shared dreamed, by exchanging codes in the dream and then exchanging them in real life. This could be made up, this could also be true. Who knows?

Regardless of beliefs, one can only say whether SDing is true after experiencing one yourself. And yet, people will think you lie. Therefore the debate of it being true or not will not end until enough people have had one that it is as common as true lucidity and thus considered to be true.

Good point. Many people are skeptical of Lucid Dreaming, but I have experienced it. So, I can see the same being true with shared dreaming. I definitely can't flat out dismiss it, but count me in as being skeptical....for now.

awsome guys. So for the past two hours ive been willing myself right into lucid dreaming, in in out of different dreams. I tried all the usual suspects. I had no problem putting on lights but the digital clock in my room in one of the dreams changed from 9:15 to 7:15 as i was looking at it, so i think that'll have to be my sign. I wasnt expecting to will myaself into the dreams but it seems to work. Also i tried spinning once when i felt i might be waking up and for a while it did work but as soon as i stopped spinng i couldnt help but wake up. Im gonna try again tonight.
