ok i had my first ld like 1 month ago. since then ive had 1 ld, both were spontaneous (or however u spell it) i didnt want to rush into trying to LD because i thought that it would make it harder for me, so i kept a dream jornal and my dreams have gone from 1 short one a week to just last night 3 short ones and 1 really long one. I believe that im ready to start trying techniques, but dont know which one would be easiest to start out with. So what technique would be easiest for a newb to start with??

      thx

I would suggest to start out with DILD, where lucidity is triggered from within a dream while you are asleep. Try reading this tutorial:

Welcome! Just read up on all of the tutorials, and pick out which one you like best. DILD is a good technique for begginners, but you really have to keep yourself aware of your dreamsigns and do a lot of RCs if you are going to get it right initially.

I thought it would be easyer to WILD because your staying lucid wile you enter your dream.... but yer im proably wrong lol
As waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown. These waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown.

From above a rain of ashes descends anathema. I will remain, forever will remain. From below, in my seclusion, look up to the sky to see See paper wings and watch them burn.

Dude, I thought you were going for CAT with me? I'm disappointed... but no hard feelings.

Yeah, I'd go with what the others said.

For some reason WILD sounds pretty hard. MILD sounds pretty easy, but I don't know how effective MILD or WILD really are.
