      Hello everyone,

      I've had a few "lucid" dreams before in my life but never really knew what it was. I'd just become aware I was dreaming and then try and control stuff. A few I remember is becoming aware that I was lucid dreaming while climbing a mountain with some friends. I just turned to them and said "I'm sorry" and ran and jumped off a cliff and flew down to the base of the mountain where I landed on the roof of an old white church.

      As a kid I had this frequent dream that demons were raiding the house, when I'd try to run away it would feel like I had turned to molassas and couldn't run. Finally I figured out I would just have to take a stand against them using a a bunch of guns. Once I did that I'd just kill them every time.

      Most recently though there's been a kind of "wormhole" vortex like thing. It's like an absolute black funnel that appears in my dream. I've always been afraid of it, but the last time I dreamed about it I became semi-aware that I was dreaming and jumped inside the thing (sort of like the series "sliders" on SciFi). I entered a kind of very deep sleep where I was surrounded by complete black. I thought I was near death actually, then I woke up.

      A while back I put a notepad by my bed to record any ideas I had while trying to go to sleep (I frequently think of things and then forget them by morning of course), now I'm going to use it to try and record my dreams. I'll try and update everyone how it's going.

      Thanks everyone. I&#39;ve started a journal in the journal section. I&#39;m on my second night tonight. I was really surpirsed at how much I&#39;m already dreaming. I&#39;d have guessed that on average I dream 1-2 dreams a night. But last night it was more like 10. They got longer as the night wore on.
