Hello hello!

Well I already started a thread called "Electronic Lucid Aids", but I'll just restate my introduction from there explaining my current standing.

I had my second lucid dream which I could recall about 5 days ago, the previous 1st was about 16 years ago.

One main recurring dream of mine, is that I focus or concentrate my mind, and a power I have starts to raise me off of the ground. It is a levitation which sometimes works better than other times. Sometimes I can just barely levitate - and once or twice people were watching and I couldn't do it (but it doesn't matter if they are watching)...

Anyways, I was discussing dreams with a friend, and told him about this recurring levitating dream. The idea of speaking about the dream must have placed a rememberance in my mind, because about 2 weeks later I finally had the dream again...

I was upstairs in a room, with a front window and buildings outside, and maybe 3-4 people besides me in the room. I tried to levitate to show them, and I started to raise. When I did this it clicked; I was dreaming. I knew I couldn't levitate because of talking about it, even though every other time I believed it, while always knowing it was impossible. I looked at everyone to figure out if it was really a dream because I still had doubts.

I asked my friend, who is very predictable in his responses. I said, "this is a dream isn't it?". I repeated the question, and he replied "no, this isn't a dream" calmly. I knew it was a dream then, because he would have started laughing had I asked that question twice.

This was where I became lucid. I didn't really do much, but rather started to enjoy the sights of a lucid dream, and quickly awakened within a minute.

This is what made me realize how special lucid dreaming really was, it was like I traveled on a vacation, just being in a simple room lucid.

Well, that's my story..I'm here to stay!
