Hi, I just found this site today. Up until now, I had never heard of Lucid Dreaming, but believe I have told myself in dreams, that I am dreaming Most of the time it is when I am flying (which I love&#33 or another of my favorites, is when I look into the night sky and the stars just start making all of these amazing formations, and I tell myself this has to be a dream. These never seem to last long at all though, which I hope after doing more reading, I can change.

Right now my biggest problem is remembering my dreams when I wake. I'll start there, and hopefully with some extensive reading here I will have much better control of my dreams.

I have alot more reading to do, and looking forward to LD. Great site!!

      Bill

welcome to the forums. i hope you find this site helpful.

if you haven't already i'd suggest reading a lot of the tutorials. they helped me a lot. in order to help your dream recall i suggest you start a dream journal right away. this is supposed to be your main tool in increasing your dream recall. once you've got that down, its all downhill from there.

feel free to PM me any questions you might have.

Welcome to the forum, FlameOut I'm like you and LOVE to fly - it's my absolute favorite thing to do in a LD.

As Casualtie said, starting a dream journal should be your first priority. You'll find that just having one will increase your recall signficantly. Write down anything you can remember of a dream the instant you wake up - the longer you wait to get it down on paper, the more you will forget. Dreams fade very fast from memory once you start moving around and getting ready for your day.

You'll find a ton of useful information in the tutorials. And don't forget to utilize the search function of the site so you can find answers to commonly asked questions.

As always, feel free to ask if you have any questions. Good luck and have fun!
