Heya! I'm Vector and I'm new here.

I came across this site a few days ago and it rekindled my desire for lucid dreaming. I refreshed myself with the various techniques and so on and gave it a shot! I didn't achieve lucidity on my first try [never have yet], but I did recall a dream (for the first time in a long time) quite vividly. When I woke up at 3:30AM I spent the next 40 minutes recalling the dream only to wake myself up too much to experience a WILD that night! Oh well, maybe next time.

Hopefully I'll stick around here and update my DJ as often as possible in the hopes of identifying my Signs and such, and just out of interest as to what my subliminal mind is thinking!

Thanks for creating such a neat forum!

      Cheers

Hey, Welcome to Dreamviews. You seem to have the gist of it down, and have had experiance in LDing before, so there isn't too much I can say. You might want to check out the Tutorials Section to see if there are any new things that you'd want to learn.

Remember, Dream Journals can be used to increase recall alot too, not just idenitfying dream signs, so it has alot of helpful things to it. Look forward to reading yours though.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or any of the staff, be glad to help.

About a year ago I first heard about it and tried to do it for a while, but I had no idea about keeping a DJ and improving recall and that kinda thing. I never made any progress and somehow it slipped from my mind after about a week.

This time I'm keeping a DJ, doing reality checks and so on, just little things that I didn't really know about last time.

The only lucid dream I've ever had was (well, I think I've had two in my lifetime, but I can only remember one) only partially lucid, I had minor control but didn't realise I was dreaming, but it was fairly vivid. Basically I was out in this massive open plane surrounded by mountains, all green, and there was a half-sphere shape cut out of the ground - the kind you'd find in a skate park. I think I was "skating" and launching myself tens of metres into the air, then come back down and launch myself again... there were a few other people there doing the same thing. It was cool.
