My name is JoJo. I had an OBE about nine years ago. I was using drugs and alcohol alot at the time and didn't try to further study this phenonmon in myself. I am clean and sober now and have become very interested in Astral Projection, Lucid Dreaming, Spirituality, Etc. I have been writing a dream journal since August.(Sometimes I remember nothing, sometimes a paragraph, sometimes a whole page.) I have tried WILD, but have had no results yet. I practice at least once during the day and always when going to bed. I also try to do as many reality checks during the day as possible. I feel like I'm getting close; I end up in a very dark void and can sometimes feel like I'm stuck in the physical body. I cannot seem to make the jump into the dream world though. This is discouraging, but I keep on trying because I know that it is quite possible and just takes patience and practice.

      Peace & Love,
      JoJo

      Hi, welcome to the board!

Firstly, can i say congratulations on giving up the drugs and alcohol, that certainly inhibits your recall.
Sounds like you have a fairly good grounding on recall, at least you are remembering and that is half the battle with lucid dreaming.

With Wild, it's often better to practise it after having had five or six hours of sleep. Have you checked out the tutorial yet? If not, i recommend doing so.

Well, that's all for now, if you have any more questions, don't hesitate to PM me.

Yea, keep on trying but don't exaggerate. Our mind is not a toy to be trifled with, lol.
      I'm tired being sorry.

Hey JoJo. Congrats on the OBE. I too am very interested in the OBE as well as astral projection, and believe the dream world may be just the right forum to find out about these experiences. Good luck with your lucid dreaming and OBE's
