Ok... I'm currently working on my dream recall, and haven't tried any induction techniques yet, or read them. Last night I had a regular dream, which turned into a nightmare for a few seconds before I woke up. It was partly the jolt of the nightmare that woke me, but I think it was partly my own will as well. The next dream I had was lucid, although not very vivid. (My first lucid dream since I was a kid.) My question is; is there certain ways I can prevent myself from having nightmares, besides the regular stress of life? One dream I had the night before was a little scary, although I wouldn't call it a a nightmare. I was fairly tired that night before going to bed, but last night I wasn't very tired at all. I was excited to go to bed, due to inspiration of dreaming. If it matters, I also drank lots of milk last night, and had a lot of natural Vitamin B6. (Cauliflower and rice.) Any suggestions, or techniques for avoiding nightmares?
