So the other night I had a dream where i was walking around my house, wasnt that exciting, but the only thing that was interesting about it was when i went into the kitchen i looked at the clock on my microwave. Instead of saying the time it was this huge sign with tons of symbols and things i couldn't read. This is probably one of the most common dream signs, but instead of making the connection that clocks don't show symbols, and that i must be dreaming I just went with it like (wow thats cool). I don't really know what to do, because if i can't reconize dream signs i don't know how im supposed reconize that im dreaming.

ok heres what you have to do: practice! practice doing reality checks throughout the day. each time you look at a digital clock, wether it be on your cell phone or whatever, do a reality check. that is, plug your nose and try to breath in. this is what's most effective for me, but if you already have a standard reality check, just do that one instead. it is imperative that you actually do this during your waking life, otherwise you will have no results in the dream world, as im sure you've heard many a time. good luck

That's the real problem with dreams, the most outlandish things seem, well, regular.

Alucinor Architecton's advice seems to me the wisest. Just get on with reality checks, they'll get the job done. Try to figure out what your personal dream signs are, that'll also probably make it easier. It's like, I often dream of cats, so now every time I see a cat I do a reality check, just in case .

      good luck with it

And even after you practice until you are blue in the face you will STILL miss dream signs. I miss over 50% of mine still.

So chin up!!!! Your dreams await you! (Yeah, Abraham Lincoln and that beaver)

Seriously though, I have confidence in you.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

You just need to practice, that happened because you´re not used to make complete reality checks.

In waking life if you happen to see a malfunctioning clock like the one in your dream you will probably do the same thing, don´t pay enough attention and then continue to your life.

So, you need to practice, and everytime that you see or feel something strange you need to ask yourelf, Am I dreaming, how did I get here, Where am I going, and so on.

Suddenly you´ll be in a dream saying, damn! I don´t know any of those answers maybe Im dreaming...

And let me tell you even with all that information you can still be unconscious of the dream, so keep practicing

      I just wanna dream!
