[font=Arial][size=4]Hi everyone. This is the coolest website. I've been studying, learning and applying lucid dreams and techniques for about 2 1/2 years now. I'm at the point where I'm lucid at least twice a week with an average dream recall of about 3 each night. I'm surprised that I've never come across this site until recently. I'm excited to participate in mutual dream projects as well as challenges and experiments.

This lucid dream occured this morning, after spending about an hour checking out posts.

I realize I'm dreaming as I'm speaking with J. I remembered wanting to change my body in my next lucid dream so I concentrate on my hand. I imagine it getting larger. It takes a few seconds, and attempts but soon my hand begins to grow. Once it reaches the size of an average window, I let it shrink to normal size. I then decide to fly around, enjoying every bit. This is one of my problems when lucidity it attained, I fly around and never experience anything else. After going through classrooms and hovering above teachers, I decide to go somewhere I've never been before. Why not the moon?
I fly outside again and begin to shoot straight up. After a few seconds, speed picks up and I feel my boots slipping off of my feet. I try to hold on to them but eventually I stop flying in order to fix them before they fall to the ground. I realize that this act in itself proves that I was semi-lucid. I then began to quite worrying about my boots. I shoot up past the atmosphere.
As I enter the thinnest layer, I see the most beautiful layers of gray, blue, purple clouds flowing in and out of each other. It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. It only lasted two seconds until I found myself in space. I looked around and concentrated on the moon. I was spinning slightly and the moon kept going outside of my point of view. I reminded myself that I can do whatever I wish so I concentrate harder on the moon. The more I concentrate the faster I spin and the harder it is to see the moon clearly. Eventually I'm spinning out of control and feeling nauseous. I start to fall back to earth and am very disappointed. As I fall back the dream ends.

This dream was very inspiring for me. I woke up feeling excellent just because of the atmosphere beauty before my dissappointment. My next dream I plan on visiting the moon. I think somewhere in my mind I figured that I couldn't travel through space like I could through air. Odd. Any comments, questions are welcome and Thanks for having this sweet website where I can share my dreams!!

      Damn right it is

Welcome to DV! You'll like it here, and congrats on your lucid! We're a friendly bunch of people. I'd give a more interesting welcome, but Im tired and hyped up on caffene at the same time... so that'd probably not be the best idea.

      But, enjoy your stay nonetheless.

to the forum, lucidbuddha! I like your avatar.

Glad you found the site! I felt the same way as you when I first came across DV - how did I go so long and haven't come across it sooner? But now that you're here you can take full advantage on all the info the forum and site has to offer. You'll find this community to be extremely friendly, helpful and open-minded. So if you ever have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Your flying experience sounds wonderful! Flying is also one of my favorite things to do in an LD - it's such a freeing and awesome feeling. It would be cool to experience the atmosphere and moon, though! I should try that sometime.

Did you mention if you were keeping a dream journal? If not, I'd highly recommend it. I'd be surprised if you weren't so far, seeing as you've got a lot of experience and knowledge about LDing already.

Anyway, enjoy your stay - Good luck and have fun!
