      Hello all.

I am in my second week of being a member . First thing I want to do however is to put the wind up some of the other members who are trying to have their first LD.
The only reason that I found this site was because I experienced a LD that I controlled and what a fantastic and unbelievable experience it was. I am hanging out to do it again. Biggest problem is that it took me 49 years to experience it. Hope my second one does not take as long.

I wrote out my LD experience very shortly after waking up and have included it as an attachment (I hope) for those of you that may be interested in reading it. Of course I had to share my experience with friends and thats how I found out it was called "Lucid Dreaming". A google search then led me here.

I am slowly getting to know my way around this site and have been doing a lot of reading. Wondering if there are other middle aged members out there. Nearly all I have read indicates its a young peoples site and I am only young at heart. Next week I might be looking for a "mature" mentor to adopt me.

Well, thats my intro. Best wished to all from "down under", the greatest sporting country in the world (per capita). Now thats sure to spark some rebuttal.

      Hello!
Middle aged? Surely they are here.
I'm over 30 and I don't know if it's many ot little...? Everything is relative.
      I'm tired being sorry.

Hey Ronstek Welcome to the forum! Glad you found us. You definitely came to the right place to learn more about LDing - and congrats on your first LD!!

There are members of a variety of ages on this forum - but since LDing has no age, we're glad to accept anyone (as long as they're 15 or older ). Though it does seem like we've been having a lot of older members join lately - which is definitely a good thing!

If you haven't visited the tutorials yet - it's a great place to start. Please feel free to post any questions or experiences you may have. This community is very friendly, open-minded, and helpful - we're all here for the love of LDing and are happy to point people in the right direction.

Looking forward to seeing you around the forum. Good luck and have fun!

      That would be me. I'm 49. I hope I'm at middle age anyway 'cause 49 + 49 = 98.

(I was told that 35 years is actually considered middle age because man supposedly is only given 70 years.)

I am a noobie, too. I cannot mentor (I believe they call it "adopt" here) you 'cause I need adopting myself. I have not put myself up for adoption yet because I am being stubborn that I can do this by myself!! I have not had a lucid dream. But good luck to you. Look forward to hearing more from you.
