LD HELP!!!
Hi everybody, I'm brand spankin new to this whole LD club thing. Well anyways... Just had a few questions and comments.
Has anyone seen a movie called like waking time or sumthing it's about LD dreaming and its all animation... well like art.. really ARTY good moive
Ok now to the ?'s
How long does it take to being LD... on average?
I've read a lot. but what is the easiest way and when should i record my dreams, like i don't know what time to get up and record my signs and stuff?
What is addopting... I don't get it?

Here come the bananas!
Anyway... how long does it take to become lucid, on average?... hmmmmm... Everybody is different. Some people can LD the night they learn how to; others can take months. No one really knows what the average is.
Repeat to yourself that you are going to wake up after a dream and remember it. Really mean it too; don't just say it.
I'm not really sure what adopting is, but what the hell... get adopted.

The little adoption thing we have going is for new people to be partnered up with more experienced people to get help with general questions and advise. Its also a quick way to make some friends.

Welcome to our humble abode! It took me about 2 1/2 weeks to get my first LD, but they are quite sporadic for me. If only the NovaDreamer wasn't out of stock! Besides, have fun here
PS You could try a dream journal program on the computer, such as IdXLog DE 1.1. It'll save you from loads of notebooks and loose bits of paper.

welcome, i don't like bananas so here have two thumbs up
it took me almost a month to have a lucid dream... it wasn't much, but i was still lucid. i am hoping to get up to 1 ever two weeks, then branch from there. just do the reality checks and dream journal and you should be setQ - What has two legs and bleeds?

it took 2 days for me
it wasn't very big... just darkness and my hands that i waved around... still lucid though...
