      Hello...

I’m O’Neal [Black African American Male, 17.] Once I Mastered just about ever skill in ‘Adobe Photoshop (which took a great deal of my time,) I recently ran across this site, while researching ‘Hypnotizing.’ Lucid Dreaming, aw, to be able to make yourself dream and become aware is highly fascinating, in my opinion. Now I do not have dreams, well... once I awake, I have no recollection of the dreams I’ve dreamed, although I’m sure I have them. Once I found this site, I immediately took a scroll around as to get familiar with certain terms, and got a good feel of the place. I do recall when I was around 6/7 having a Lucid Dream, I pinched myself, and became aware that I was in a dream, and could do whatever I wanted lol. EXCITING! I Can’t wait to study more into this subject (which I have been doing.) But first I need to know where to start, how to start. I Have a CD that puts me in a very compatible and relaxed state, so the importance of learning to relax and let go... Is not needed, being that I have and can achieved that.

      So My Questions:

      Can anyone do it?
Most importantly, where and how do I start? [I’ve read those tutorials on the front page.]

THANKS A LOT!! This is all so exciting to me, for I want to learn as much as I Can about dreams, and how they work.

Last Night, I Did Dream Recall [FOR THE 1ST TIME], I Woke up around 9 o’Clock and word down 2 phases that cam to me, while trying to go back to sleep. ‘Killed By Dog Though’ and ‘Locked up for 4 Years in a Place.’

Lmao, just as those thoughts passed me by, I became exciting, thinking of those words as I Layed back down.. But I Never did dream lol... Anyway, Enough talk.

Sure, there is a lot of us that can have a lucid dream. I had a few lucid dreams in my life. I'm not an expert with it , but I have had some lucid dreams.

For some people it is easy to have a lucid dream and for others it is kind of hard. It takes dedication, time and a lot of practice. Try buying a book on lucid dreaming. It might help you.

      Welcome to Dreamviews Oneal!

Yes!! Anyone can do it! There is nothing paranormal or new age about it, unlike some people think, and its actually very common! Lucid Dreaming directly translates to Conscious Dreaming or Dream Consciousness. Simply, its just knowing that you are dreaming. The term lucid means Aware.

So absolutely anyone can do it! It can be not only incredibly fun, but practical. Some use it to study, or practice activities. Its also a big eye opener, and can really change a persons perspective on life and reality.

Its an amazing concept. You'll be sure to learn a lot about it here on our forum. We have tonnes of members, all of which are very friendly and helpful. This is a very open, trusting and tightly knit community, and almost anyone would be happy to help.

So, if you have any questions feel free to ask! Welcome to the forum!

Yes, this concept is very amazing. Thank you all for the replies. I’m reading more and more on it now.

Hey, I just thought about this. My dream recall was: 'Killed By Dog' and 'Locked up for 4 Years in a Place.' So Maybe it had something to do with Harry Potter. I have often been thinking about him, and I watched Prisoner of Akabon 2 days ago. Hmm....

did someone say my name? or Harry Potter's name?

heh, seeing the movie is a good explanation for having that dream, ONeal - it's quite common to dream about something you saw during the day.

And welcome to the forum, btw
