I sometimes happen to have dreams just before waking up, in the morning, when i am half way between sleep and wakefulness. At the beginning i thought they were thoughts, not dreams, but recently i paid more attention to contents and realized they are dreams. Is anyone going to confirm this? Thank you.

Yeah, they're dreams. I seem to get more of them, especially vivid ones, between waking up later and falling asleep again like between 8-10 AM if I'm still tired.

Welcome!

Yeah as Zacco said they are dreams and in my opinion these "morning dreams" are more vivid then dreams through out the night.

heya, welcome to the board!

those morning dreams are more vivid because you are closer to your rem cycle at that point of the night, and they are also a lot longer!

Hope that helps. I often find that those 'morning dreams' are the best time to try a WILD or a lucid, especially if i've just woken up from one.

I can recommend the dream phases in the morning.
I just recently started working on LDs but already had some impressive experiences using
the Wake back to Bed - method.
No luck during other sleep phases though.

Morning dreams for me are the most vivid and easiest to obtain lucidity with. They are also the easiest to recall without even trying.
