After trying to WILD for a month and not succeeding, I stopped trying to LD... Yesterday I came back on to this forum and after much consideration tried again... Last night I had my first LD- I moved two weeks ago and I "woke up" in my old house- at first I had no idea what was going on so i walked around my room. Then I looked down at my hands and I did a RC and I realized that I was dreaming. I knew that if i would get to exited then I would wake up so I slowly walked out of my room and went downstairs when suddenly everything started to fade away. I started to spin to try to stabalize the dream but I for some reason was unable to... then i woke up. Even though I didnt have a chance to do anything it was one of the coolest things I ever did and I hope to do it again. Thanks to everyone who helped me!

      Good JOB!

It took me about a month as well to have my first WILD.

Out of interest, what sensations did you experience during the "transition" phase?

No, I meant between Wake and dreaming. In a WILD, there's a transition you make from being in a sort of conscious sleep, to the actual dream.

First night I tried to WILD I had an SP, but couldn't go any further. It's been like that for three nights now, I get an SP but can't concentrate and relax anymore.

Last night I almost did it... I was counting while breathing, got an SP, when I got to 80 I started hearing a vibration that was becoming more and more intense, but then I got too excited, I felt that my heart was gonna come out of my mouth (lol) and I lost all my concentration.

I made a promise that I won't give up until I can induce an LD. I've had an LD before, but it happened accidentally.

good luck to you and keep trying, never give up

Ahhh, right. Sometimes, a failed WILD in which you fall asleep can lead to a sort of DILD-MILD hybrid thingie LD, just because you;ve been concentrating on LDing so miuch while you were falling asleep trying to WILD.
