I just recently started researching lucid dreaming, and even before I knew what it was I have had a few. I remember several vivid ones about zombies taking over the world (one of my favorites&#33, and a few that happened at school.

Recently, I got an MP3 that claimed that it would allow me to "Dream My Own Dream" I tried it a few times without success, but then I finally got it to work. I didn't know what I wanted to dream, so I decided to dream about school.

      The dream:
I appeared at school, in the locker hallway, I kind of knew it was a dream because I didn't know how I got there. Some guy was bothering me, he never had the same appearance whenever I looked at him (I.E. At one glance he was white, and in another he was black). He kept pushing me and saying annoying things, so I decided to teach this guy a lesson, because after all this is a dream. I grabbed him by the arm, and threw him across the hallway, and he slammed into the wall. Then he got up and we started fighting, (I could desciribe this blow by blow, but then this could get quite long) and I was winning of course because this was MY dream. Well, I lost my lucidity and got scared when the administrators and the SRO were going to come get me, and I woke up at like 2 A.M.

I was amazed that it worked, and I want to have more Lucid dreams because they're pretty awesome.

Although recently, I haven't really been having that interesting of dreams. They're just kind of images, like a few nights ago I was focused on the gas gauge in my truck, which read empty, and last night I opened up the case of one of my favorite CDs only to find it broken, and that was the WHOLE dream, they didn't really allow for me to do anything because I didn't really interact with anything.

      Welcome to DV!

I've sent you a PM, but I'd also like to say with regards to dream recall, the more you practice and the longer you keep trying, the more and more dreams you'll get, with less effort. Also, the better your recall gets, the more you grow your ability to piece together, and the less often you get left with fragments that seem nonsensical or boring.
