What Has Changed?

OK i used to have a few LD's, became quite good at dream recall but the last LD was a dream in the holidays in december. It only lasted for a few seconds but it was so real, my shortest but most vivid dream ever. Since then i havn't had one LD and my dream recall is quite shit. I used mostly mild but nothing has been working. also this was at the beggining of the holidays so it isn't because of the stress of school. I've had a week break from trying which was up last night but i forgot lol.Should i just start again as if i was new, working on dream recall or should i just try from where i'm at? Also the only time WILD worked was when i had a DILD from one lol. Also there are two techs i like the idea of. One is when straight after you wake from a dream dont move and go back in and one is you stay real tired and keep moving 2 fingers and do a RC every now and then. Has anyone tried these. I found em of the ld4all site if anyone is interested.

Welcome to DV! I think what is happening is that you are having a dry spell. I am currently having this problem too. Taking a break was probably a good idea, as you may just be mentally sick of trying. Now I think the way to continue is to start again as if you are new, and do reality checks during waking life (my signature has a link to a good guide). Also, try different techniques, as sometimes changing paths helps. Whatever you do, don't give up hope, and just keep trying. The dry spell will end, and once you get out of it, you will probably be an even better Lucid Dreamer than before!
