<div align="center">I think I'm awake
Rolling on my blanket
I am sinking into the bed
Light around me
Beautful washes of pulsating color
Buzzing white noise
It sounds like one hundred bees
...
Pulsing
You control it
Body's asleep
And your mind is awake

well, it does sound like those sensations that everyone gets before they fall asleep if they concentrate on them... |

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I am somewhat familiar with sleep paralysis: I chose the name Dredg because the singer for the band Dredg experiences sleep paralysis frequently (even wrote a few songs about it). I've never actually been unable to move during the act; to be fair, I do not try to move while this is happening. |

No, people get sleep paralysis as they sleep as a way for the body to stop you acting out your dreams. It happens to every one each night. Its nothing to be afraid of, infact it makes you more safe. |
